Welcome to Fame Star Youth
Developing Young Talent
Fame Star Youth groups on a weekly basis every Thursday 3.30 – 5.30 pm to make bonds and friendships with other young people and to have a place to feel safe and be able to express themselves freely. The youth group is also taught about each sector of the media, from being in front to behind the camera. By the end of each consecutive year the young people would have put together an event to showcase their talents and what they have learnt.
The youth group ranges from age 10 to age 18. Between putting together a production for the end of the year, the group works on developing and finding their own talents through lessons and guest speakers from the media industry.
Fame Star Youth offers the chance to help youths at risk to join and to go on any available field trips to places in the media industry, for example being on a live movie set. This not only looks good on the young people’s CV but it also gives them leverage; if they so choose to venture further into the media industry.
The CEO of Fame Star Media Ltd. Euphemia Chukwu offers the opportunity to connect any passionate student in pursuit of being in the media industry a chance to star or be a part of a professional production. Fame Star Youth worked in partnership with Skinners’ Academy, Metropolitan Police, The Edge Youth Hub (Young Hackney), Notting Hill Genesis, Berkeley Group, Hackney Council, Manor House Development Trust, St. Olaves Church and Woodberry Down Community Primary School and others.
